Lakers' week in review

In an apparent slap at Lakers fans, Andrew Bynum says he looks forward to playing in front of a supportive crowd in Cleveland in the upcoming season. The center didn't play at all for the Philadelphia 76ers last season because of knee injuries.

The Lakers added a player during the last week, increasing the roster to 12.
Gonzaga forward Elias Harris agreed to a two-year deal, with a partial guarantee in the first season.
Mark Madsen, now a player development coach with the Lakers, hopes to eventually become an NBA head coach.  The former Laker gave his take on summer league players Harris, Marcus Landry and Lester Hudson.
Landry is a fan of Coach Mike D'Antoni's system and hopes to be a Laker.
Thirteen former Lakers are under contract with other teams around the league.
Andrew Bynum, who recently signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers, said he looks forward to playing for fans who support their team -- an apparent slap at Lakers fans.
Andrew Goudelock signed a one-year deal to play in Russia.
Former Laker Adam Morrison will join the Gonzaga Bulldogs' coaching staff.  Although his NBA career didn't quite turn out as many hoped, Morrison did win two titles with the Lakers.
New Laker Wesley Johnson joined Twitter, making Robert Sacre the lone hold-out on the roster.
Steve Nash said he expects Kobe Bryant to exceed expectations when he returns from his Achilles injury.  Nash will try out for a soccer tournament with Inter Milan this coming week, a personal passion of the veteran guard.
The schedule for the 2013-14 NBA season should be out shortly -- reports say the Lakers are set to host the Miami Heat on Christmas.
Though Carmelo Anthony is a likely target of the Lakers in summer 2014, when the team projects to have significant cap space, the New York Knicks forward recently downplayed the notion of joining the Lakers.
Finally, could the Philadelphia 76ers help the Lakers ditch the luxury tax completely this season?
