NBA Free Agency: Who’s Still Available?

At this time last year, free agents like Andray Blatche, Kenyon Martin and Chris Andersen were among the players still on the market. While it took them longer to sign than most players, they would all become significant contributors for playoff teams during the 2012-13 season.
One month into free agency, most of the remaining available players are past their prime or have some baggage that comes along with them. However, these players often turn out to be some the best signings of the offseason.
Before Blatche, Martin and Andersen became rotation players last season, they each signed bargain contracts. Blatche joined the Brooklyn Nets on a non-guaranteed deal worth the veteran’s minimum while Martin and Andersen played on 10-day contracts before being signed for the duration of the season by the New York Knicks and Miami HEAT.
They each ultimately outplayed their deal, just as some of the free agents currently available will surely do next season.
