New Indiana Pacers forward Chris Copeland will spend the next six to eight weeks rehabbing his left knee after having surgery on Friday, reports The Indianapolis Star.
According to the newspaper, the Pacers announced Copeland needed to have the knee cleaned out to “remove a loose body.”
Copeland, who signed a two-year, $6 million contract last month, is expected to be fully recovered before the start of training camp in late September. Copeland was added to bring energy and defense off the bench. He can also hit three-point shots occasionally, too.
